“Corrina’s ‘Maison Saint Antonin’ was everything we’d dreamed of!

A very warm welcome and some lovely treats awaited us at our beautiful medieval gite …such amazing history and brilliant location, in the heart of the village and close to the river. Beautiful decor and clever styling of French antiques, brocante and art.

Light, bright, open and spacious living areas, with comfy furniture for relaxing at the end of a busy day exploring. Divine, traditional bedrooms with layers of gorgeous French linen. Thoughtfully appointed kitchen, great layout and everything you need for a cook up or preparing a generous platter of ‘fromage et saucisson’. Sparkling clean.

Saint Antonin Noble Val was our home for two weeks. We hired a car and drove through incredible countryside visiting some of the many villages within an hour and a half.  So special being immersed in the culture and establishing our own rituals of visiting the boulangerie daily for pastries and baguettes, aperitif in the village square of an evening. Walks through the village, leading to a new and exciting discovery every day. Exploring the surrounding countryside on foot, via an incredible network of ancient tracks.  Our host was helpful with lots of local tips. She guided us through the Sunday market, taking us to favourite vendors and producers, helping us order and buy our goodies.

A generous host with a genuine passion for her home and such pride in sharing it with others.”

The stay in this luxury gite was phenomenal!

Corrina has such an eye for beautiful things, the home was elegant as well as plush and comfortable. We really enjoyed the Marshall sound system and had a few impromptu dance parties for just us two! The location is perfect, close to everything but a nice tucked away feeling. High quality bath products, plush towels and crisp linens make the place perfect. Lovely in every way. I will always stay here when in the romantic village of St. Antonin!

“A dream come true. For the last few years I have nurtured the idea of getting lost in the middle of France in an old character filled village in the countryside. Turns out I share this desire with Corrina, an Australian Photographer, who lives in just such a place and owns a beautiful medieval Gite called Maison Saint Antonin that is available to rent for holiday accommodation. Corrina was so helpful and responsive as we planned our itinerary and prepared to go. We were spoilt beyond belief by staying for a week in July and getting to settle in, take a deep breath and immerse ourselves in the beautiful village of Saint Antonin Noble Val and explore the surrounding area with medieval villages perched on hilltops, Archbishops' Palaces, Castles, Museums, kayaking on the Aveyron River surrounded by Limestone cliffs and just walking through the village and sitting at the cafe in the market square people watching to our hearts' content.

There is so much to see and do and Corinna provides some wonderful additional options to completely elevate your experience.

We took advantage of ordering a delicious and beautifully presented Mezze Plate with accompanying local wine prepared by Corrina's husband Shane who, amongst many things, does event catering. This was a perfect meal for our first night so we could relax before exploring the next day. We were very excited to spend Sunday morning in the markets with Corinna sourcing everything we needed for a French cooking class and some extra treats that she recommended we must try.

The styling of the Gite is stunning with beautiful, relaxing and welcoming spaces and  thoughtfully curated original art and objects. Corrina provides french playlists to set the mood. The linen on the bed was divine and the mattress was so comfortable. We quickly settled in and completely lost ourselves in the dream of living there. Small wonders included hearing bells and looking out the window as donkeys were being led past, wandering the streets with terrific self guided walking brochures in English from the Tourist Office that pointed out so many details in the streets and buildings that we had missed even as they were right under our noses and enjoying watching the locals doing life.  We hired a car from Toulouse and you definitely need one to get to Sant Antonin and all around and really enjoy wandering through the countryside, regional towns and villages. Corrina was a wonderful host with so many terrific suggestions. We loved the places she recommended and there was certainly a lot more we could have done. The days flew past and it was sad to head off but we were so grateful for the week we had and it ticked so many boxes on the wish list. If wandering in medieval villages in central southern France sounds like it just might be your thing you should definitely consider Saint Antonin Noble Val and make contact with Corrina - you will never regret it. Thank you so much for hosting us. It was such a pleasure to meet you and discover your wonderful village.”
